Shot in Twentynine Palms on the second day of the new year, 2019. This shoot was for my ongoing "Trucksluts Magazine" project. I was trying to capture deep desert lesbian wingnut energy with this image.
This is a limited run of fifty 18" x 24" prints, and one-hundred 9" x 12" prints. Each print will be signed & numbered. These are fine art inkjet prints using archival ink on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Baryta fine art paper. This is my printer's favorite choice for photographic printing. Cotton base, smooth semigloss finish, OBA-free natural color base. Framing is done in house by the printer, and is of museum-quality.
About the Print Process
Candela Fine Art Printing, based out of Oakland, California, handles the printing and shipping of my photos. They are an incredible studio that pays utmost attention to detail.
Archival Inkjet Printing, also known as Pigment or Giclée Printing, is the preferred digital printing choice for artists due to its longevity and versatility. Candela's Canon IPF9400 and IPF8400 large-format printers use 12 separate inks with multiple black and gray channels for the most accurate color reproduction. With archival ratings in the 60-100 year range, these prints set the standard by which all photographic printing is measured.
